Contact Us

It starts with filling out our form. We gather information about your child and their medical history. We require that you have a diagnosis of autism made after 2017 and a behavior that Aim High Impact can help, but we do not turn children away based on the severity of their behavior.

After filling out our form, our client care coordinator will call to confirm that you are on our waiting list.

Assessment

When a space opens for your child, you will be contacted to take a tour through our facility. If you are still interested, you will provide paperwork and we’ll get insurance approval.

Our therapy fits and aids your child's medical plan

We will then schedule a 4-8 hour assessment of your child’s strengths and weaknesses. During this time, we will also speak to you and your family about what goals you would like your child to achieve during therapy.

Such goals can include improving aspects like daily living skills, language and social skills, and emotional regulation or preparing for specific situations like a medical visit or a community activity.

Therapy

At our clinic we start by building a relationship of trust with kids. We remove all triggers, give them clear rules about what is expected, and establish that our therapists will listen to them and their language. We introduce staff, play games, and establish a routine.

Therapists focus on a single child

After the first couple of weeks, our team of BTs will start working one on one with your child on the goals established during the assessment period. Every six months our team will meet with you to reevaluate the direction of treatment and reestablish goals for therapy, including longer-term planning for major life changes.

We encourage socialization between children

We do therapy in-center. This means that your child will be in a safe environment supervised by a team of trained therapists. In comparison to out-of-center programs, we provide socialization through other children as well as a variety of different toys and therapy tools.

Discharge

We inform you weekly of your child’s progress throughout their time in our program. We keep track of the skills they gain and the behaviors that change so you can make an informed decision about when your child is ready to transition from Impact to a less intense program.
